T.K. Wetherell

If at first you don’t succeed . . . third time-or in this case the second time-is the charm. After persevering, and enduring, a highly visible and sometimes controversial Presidential search, one of FSU’s favorite sons is coming home to lead. FSU’s Board of Trustees recently selected Dr. T.K. Wetherell to lead it during what is sure to be one of the more challenging periods in the University’s history. A new State University governance structure, a bleak Legislative budget outlook, a continuing capital fundraising campaign, and building a leadership team are just a few of the challenges facing FSU’s newest President. However, perhaps the two most important questions he will have to address are where can we find a reliable wakeup call service in town and will he be the one to outlast Bobby Bowden at FSU? Please come join us in welcoming T.K. Wetherell back and hearing his vision for FSU at the next meeting of the Capital Tiger Bay Club on Wednesday, January 22 at the Silver Slipper.
