Leonard Hamilton
Faced with Florida State University’s version of Ground Zero, FSU’s Mens Basketball Team, Dave Hart has made his decision as to the architect, engineer, and salesman for FSU’s biggest rebuilding project in years. Come meet Leonard Hamilton, FSU’s newly hired men’s basketball coach on Thursday, May 30, at the Silver Slipper. Coach Hamilton is known for his aggressive, no nonsense approaches to building and rebuilding programs including successful terms at Oklahoma State and Miami. He has already secured a very promising recruiting class in his first few months on the job. But a number of questions still loom for Coach Hamilton including whether he is considering a run for any of the open city commission seats, what is his position on city/county consolidation, what his game plan is for securing accreditation for FSU’s medical school, and will he do what no other basketball coach in FSU’s history has ever done . . . . .. still be coaching at FSU when Bobby Bowden retires. Come join us on Thursday, May 30 at the Silver Slipper as the Capital Tiger Bay holds center court with Leonard Hamilton.
