He’s the Governor’s point man for implementing Florida’s newly overhauled education system. He’s disgruntled and perplexed by the critical comments from Senator Bob Graham about Florida’s education reorganization efforts. He’s Jim Horne, Florida’s first appointed Secretary of Education and he’s coming to speak to Tiger Bay. As a former Florida State Senator, Secretary Horne should bring an insightful look into the upcoming Florida Legislative session, especially as it related to the continued reorganization efforts of Florida’s education system. Secretary Horne’s appearance is of course contingent on his ability and willingness to effectively negotiate the ill-paced speed bumps throughout Tallahassee.
