Al Sharpton

He is one of America’s foremost leaders for civil rights and he "leads the ongoing battle against economic injustice, political inequity and corporate racism." Time Magazine asserted that he has emerged as the most important black leader in the city of New York. Often controversial but never without a word to say, the Reverend Al Sharpton marches on the Capital Tiger Bay Club on December 14th to express his views on a number of political and social issues ranging from the ongoing Presidential race to police brutality in America. His runs for political office in 1992, 1994 and 1997 shook the New York State political establishment and are rivaled nationally only by the quakes created by the political runs of our own Scott Dailey. Rumor has it that the famous Tiger Bay soothsayer Barnac the Great will make an appearance! Don’t miss the last meeting of the year for the Capital Tiger Bay Club!
